My Sunday Flow: Build to Splits

I didn't get to yoga class today, so instead I cranked my fave Spotify playlist (always 90's hip hop) and worked through this flow.

I often find the kind of music I play determines the tempo of my home practice, regardless of the postures. When it's hip hop, my yoga tends to be higher energy and I can really get my heart rate up. I generally do this in the morning to get my day started right.  

In the evening, when I'm feeling a bit slower and softer, I will often play classical music. This also helps me experience intense Savasana's (that's if I can manage to stay awake - hah!).
